Tests clearly marked the superiority of the Sasib Packaging WE 400 which entirely met the expectations of the Engineering Team of WESTON: an order for two units has been finally awarded to SASIB PACKAGING ITALIA.
The product-application: single packed chocolate enrobbed biscuits with diameters ranging from 60 to 85 mm named "Wagon Wheel" and "Quatro".
While the "WHEEL" turned comfortably at 600 packs per minute, the irregularly shaped peanut-rich "QUATRO" was the real challenge but still 450 of them a minute were regularly in their individual packs.
Biscuits, once laid-off the synchronising belts, are driven toward the forming box by a multiple chain system which keeps them fully guided and perfectly in position.
In presence of chocolate build-up, peanut crunches and chocolate chips scattered around the product track, an extremely efficient detection and ejection system of products out of position prior to their arrival in the forming box avoids jams and keeps productivity and efficiency at extremely high levels
As said before, the equipment at WESTON includes wrappers and computer-controlled light contact product synchronising conveyors. The amazing ability of the synchronising conveyor model CCLC to cope with minimum low and high peaks of products in arrival from the cooling tunnel won the admiration of the WESTON Engineers .
The long-time tested and constantly ameliorated CCLC is composed of a set of seven belts driven by brush-less motors which do not apply pressure between products while maintaining them in correct position.
Manufacturing features include belt tool-free, no down-time maintenance .
The SASIB PACKAGING wrappers model WE 400 have four electronically controlled axis, thirty different product program as standard, temperature setting integrated in the product program and self-diagnostic via messages coming in a complete sentence .
