The Isolated Bidirectional RS-232-D/ CURRENT LOOP Adapter from RS-232-D signals (2 or 4 lines) to current loop signals and vice versa. The RS-232-D and Current Loop ports are optically isolated from each other .
Depend of model this unit will operate as passive or active device and can be set for 20mA operation (part no. 232CUR01) or for selection of 20/30(40)/60/80 or 100mA operation(part no. 232CUR02 and 232CUR04). In addition, this unit can be set for full- or half-duplex operation, CTS/RTS hardware hand-shake is fully supported. The configuration of this unit is straps programmable. This unit is powered by internal dual isolated power supply.
Asynchronous data transmission can be achieved at rates up to 19.200 baud on extended distance .
This unit can be supplied in ABS or metal enclosures, as well rack mounted (standard U3 size) version is available.
